Dwelling

He dwelled, did not let it

drop, slip away, slide

off.  It sucked sunshined air,

lingered like church breath.  His

mind turned it, flipped it,

turned it again, coming

to nothing and no good.

Eventual time only

allowed  him out

the other side at

the cost of an unrecoverable

periwinkle blue sky.
